Clement Street Capital was formed in 2012, by partners Adam Smolich and Mark Doyle, as a fee-only registered investment advisor. Adam has provided full financial planning services to high net worth individuals and their families for over 20 years. With 30 years in the financial industry, Mark has a seasoned, experienced approach in identifying investments that best fit his clients' needs.
From 2005 to 2011, Mark was a Senior Vice President at Whitnell & Company. As a voting member of the Investment Committee, Mark was an integral part of the investment management process. He also served as the firm's compliance officer, as well as operations manager. Prior to 2005, Mark worked for Deutsche Bank and as a financial advisor with Raymond James Financial. He currently serves as a Trustee on the Western Springs Police Pension Board, Trustee for Nazareth Academy High School (where he is also the Co-President of the Finance Committee). Mark received his MBA from Loyola University, and also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics from DePauw University.
In January 2007 as an advisor at Whitnell & Company, Adam helped create and develop the financial planning division of the firm. He played an integral part in successfully transitioning clients, as well as coordinating the infrastructure for the practice. Adam got his start in the financial planning industry when he spent over 5 years with JMG Financial Group, Ltd. Adam holds a Master of Science Degree in Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning, as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Millikin University.
